M J Mapp was appointed as contract administrator on the £4.1m refurbishment of this high-profile city-centre commercial building in Birmingham, with a brief to enhance both rental values and saleability. Purpose-built, 19 Cornwall Street offers six storeys of office accommodation and a two-level underground car park.
We oversaw an extensive refurbishment to the offices, toilets, fifth-floor rooftop terrace, reception area and entrance façade. The project was completed on time and to budget, facilitating further lettings and ultimately a successful disposal of the building.
The former ‘Innovis House’ property which has now been renamed Origin One, in response to a recent marketing strategy, is a four storey detached office building located in Crawley incorporating on-site car parking. Originally M J Mapp were instructed to act on behalf of the Landlord to negotiate the dilapidations claim on the property. Later were also instructed to Contract Administrate the repair and improvement works at a value of circa £1.8m.
