From February 2006 until he joined M J Mapp, Adam was employed as a Divisional Director at NB Real Estate, heading up the team responsible for the management of five portfolios on behalf of Shaftesbury. During Adam’s employment at NB Real Estate, the Shaftesbury instruction significantly increased in size. In particular, year on year, substantial asset management opportunities were indentified and successfully implemented, enhancing the value of the client’s assets. </div> <div class="info"> Away from the office, Adam enjoys cycling, football, tennis and golf. Adam lives in Purley, married to Simone with two children, Lucas and Jocelyn. Adam is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. </div> 13 156 1 </div> Adrian Allen joined M J Mapp in March 2003 and, until December 2009, headed up a team on various portfolios and properties. Adrian is now responsible on the property management side for company strategy and projects, as well as keeping strong links with his clients. From 1997 until he joined M J Mapp, Adrian was employed by Nelson Bakewell, latterly as a Divisional Director overseeing management of the Royal London portfolio. </div> <div class="info"> Away from the office Adrian enjoys rugby, cricket, golf and cycling. He completed the London to Brighton Bike Ride in 2006 and 2007, in 2006 on a tandem with David Clein and a year later with a team of 12 from M J Mapp raising over £10,000 for charity. Adrian lives in Beaconsfield with his wife, Georgia, and two children Athena and Thomas. He became an equity partner in 2007 and was made deputy managing partner in 2009. He is now responsible for service delivery across all teams within the business. David initially ran a team looking after a number of portfolios for clients including Protego Real Estate Investors, CBRE Investors, Shaftesbury and NFU Mutual. David, along with Adrian Allen, is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day activities of the property management function are running to our expected standards. </div> <div class="info"> Before joining M J Mapp, David was employed as a Divisional Director by Nelson Bakewell where he headed up the management of portfolios on behalf of Henderson Global Investors, Morley Fund Management and Arlington Property Investors. David enjoys travel, plays rugby, enjoys cycling (very occasionally to work) and lives in Oxshott with his wife Elizabeth and daughter Isabella. He is passionate about ensuring that our corporate operations support and enhance the ability of the client facing teams to deliver the best possible service. Jonathan has a wide breadth of experience in leading teams in sales, operations and project management within the publishing, banking and not-for-profit sectors. </div> <div class="info"> Jonathan gained an MBA in 2000 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. He lives with his wife, Isabelle, and their three children in Kingston and is an active member of St Paul’s Church Hammersmith. Loves in life include meals with friends and family, mountains (preferably skiing in them), walking, wine tasting and, rather sadly, reading management books. </div> 15 171 4 <div class="info"> Mark Hearn joined M J Mapp in March 2004 and is the Partner responsible for the management of the Aberdeen Property Investors portfolio. The portfolio comprises over 200 properties with 1,200 tenants. The portfolio includes prime central London offices, retail parks, shopping and leisure centres, industrial estates, regional offices and business parks with a value of £3bn. Before joining M J Mapp, Mark was at Atis Real where he managed the Merrill Lynch portfolio, and before that he was employed by the Taylor Woodrow Property Company. Mark lives in East Sussex. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. </div> 5 23 5 <div class="info"> Nigel Mapp set up M J Mapp in 1998 and, with the help of colleagues, has built a company that has become a market leader in the provision of commercial property management advice. The business, through its reputation, has grown and now employs over 100 people within its property management and facilities management companies. Much of this growth has come from the strategic decision made in early 2000 to focus on property and estate management. Nigel's day-to-day activity is centred around ensuring that the company's existing clients are receiving a level of service beyond that which is expected; developing new relationships and clients; recruiting and managing the team; as well as dealing with the various layers of statutory and professional compliance. </div> <div class="info"> Nigel has travelled extensively, is an avid skier and enjoys reading, golf, sailing and the ups and downs of English rugby at Twickenham. Nigel is an active member of the Anglican Church in west London. He is also a Trustee of the St Paul's Centre charitable organisation which provides support to various projects involved with reaching out to socially disadvantaged 16-25 year olds. He lives in Barnes with his wife Nicky, his five children all of whom are seven or under, and a tortoise. Tina is responsible for the day to day operations of the day to day financial management and ensuring compliance, in order to provide accurate and effective accounting services to our clients. Before joining M J Mapp, Tina was Director of Client Accounting at Cushman & Wakefield where she was instrumental in developing and implementing structures, systems, procedures and a robust team to support and service a business against a background of increased compliance and transparency. </div> <div class="info"> Outside of work, Tina loves to bake and is an avid reader who spends any spare time with a good book in hand.
